Plan Your Trip

Planning your trip on the New Mexico Rail Runner Express is now easier than ever. Web mapping service provider, Google, has added Rio Metro’s Rail Runner and commuter buses to its transit database. Passengers can type their destination location and arrival or departure times into the web based program and their computers or smart phones will map out a step by step transit route to take.

  Enter Your Starting Point

• The trip planning module is located on the right-hand side of your screen
• Enter the address, intersection or landmark where you are starting your trip

  Enter Your Ending Point

• Enter the address, intersection or landmark where you are ending your trip
• Click "Get Trip Plan"

  Retrieve Your Trip Plan

• A new window will open in your internet broswer for Google Maps
• Within the new window you will see a map with your requested route via public transportation
• In the upper left-hand corner of the window you will see see your starting and ending point as well the suggested route
• Click on "more options and times" to see detailed directions, purchase tickets and view the cost of your trip
